Social Feed
Run a social feed like a small newsroom — a social media writer keeps every post moving through a real pipeline (idea to published, nothing by accident), a copywriter sharpens each variant for its platform, and a live board shows exactly where every post stands.
Try it
Open in a full windowSocial Feed running in your browser on sample data. Use the page, or talk with the social media writer beside it: the conversation is scripted for this preview, and the changes stay in the page.
What’s inside
The crew
- Social Media Writer Crew leadThe town crier for your feeds.
- CopywriterWrites for humans.
Plans it follows
- Draft a Social PostDraft one social post from idea to approved copy.
- Social DigestThe overnight read of your social feeds.
- Reception ReportThe weekly reception review for your social posting.
Runs Social Digest overnight, once you agree. Runs Reception Report on a schedule, once you agree.
Actions the crew can take
- List postsSee the whole post pipeline: every post with its status, platforms, and dates.
- Get postRead one post in full: frontmatter, body, each platform variant with its character count (and permalink once live), and media files.
- Create postAdd a post: give its title and body (and platforms) to write it in one call, or commit a draft staged in posts/_drafting/ (post.md with frontmatter + body, variants/, media/).
- Update postPatch a post's frontmatter (fields object; null clears a key) and/or move it one pipeline stage.
- Record publicationThe moment a variant goes live, stamp it with its permalink and platform post id.
Each action is a small script that changes the app’s files, checked by Gezel’s security settings before it runs.
Files it keeps
Plain files in the project folder you can open, back up, and read: voice-guide.md, posts/index.json.
Start one
- Download Gezel for Mac, Windows or Linux. It’s free.
- Choose New project, then Communication, then Social Feed.
- Answer a few questions: Who does this feed speak for? Bluesky handle X handle
- Your social media writer takes it from there, on the model you choose.
