Actions the crew can take

  • Add cardsAdd flashcards to the deck: a cards array of {front, back} objects, one fact per card, at most 8 at a time.
  • Deck statusSee the deck: how many cards, how many due, and the box distribution.
  • List deckRead every card in the deck (id, box, front, back).

Each action is a small script that changes the app’s files, checked by Gezel’s security settings before it runs.

Files it keeps

Plain files in the project folder you can open, back up, and read: deck.json.

Start one

  1. Download Gezel for Mac, Windows or Linux. It’s free.
  2. Choose New project, then Personal Growth, then Flashcards.
  3. Answer its question: What are you learning?
  4. Your study partner takes it from there, on the model you choose.
