Grants & Proposals
Find grants, write proposals and meet every deadline. A fundraiser tracks each funding opportunity and request for proposals with its deadline, fit and ask, keeps a requirements checklist for every submission, records what was awarded, and reminds you two weeks before the next deadline.

What’s inside
The crew
- Fundraiser Crew leadAn infectious, organized rallier for community drives.
- ResearcherReads source, prior art, or external docs and files a substantive written analysis.
- CopywriterWrites for humans.
Plans it follows
- Cited Research ReportProduce a rigorously cited research report that answers a specific question end to end: a planner first decomposes the question into sub-questions and locks the scope, then a researcher gathers and logs primary and secondary sources with inline citations, then a copywriter writes a structured markdown report (executive summary, findings, evidence, limitations, references).
- Proposal / Statement of WorkDraft a client proposal or statement of work that wins the deal and prevents scope creep — covering objectives, scope, deliverables, timeline/milestones, pricing, assumptions, and acceptance criteria.
- Decision Evidence BriefAnswer a specific decision question with a weighted, confidence-rated evidence brief: a planner frames the decision and the options, locks the evidence criteria and a confidence scale, a researcher gathers evidence for and against each option and rates the strength of each piece, and a copywriter writes a decision-oriented brief that states a recommendation with explicit confidence levels and the key uncertainties.
Actions the crew can take
- Grants statusThe whole pipeline: every open opportunity by deadline, soonest first (missed ones included), each with its funder, fit, ask, stage and the requirements still to do (with ids); what is submitted and awaiting a decision; and the outcomes so far.
- Add opportunitySave a funding opportunity or request for proposals: its title, funder, kind, deadline (YYYY-MM-DD), the ask in dollars, and how well it fits.
- Update opportunityChange an opportunity already on the list.
- Set stageMove an opportunity to prospect, drafting, submitted (the moment it is sent, with any confirmation number as the note) or passed (decided not to apply).
- Record outcomeRecord the funder's decision the moment it comes in: awarded (with the amount in dollars), declined, or passed.
- Add requirementAdd what a submission needs to its checklist (a budget narrative, work samples, a board list, letters of support): one as title, or several as titles.
- Check requirementCheck a requirement off the moment the person says it is ready (done: false reopens it).
Each action is a small script that changes the app’s files, checked by Gezel’s security settings before it runs.
Files it keeps
Plain files in the project folder you can open, back up, and read: opportunities.json, requirements.json.
