Training Tracker
Track who has finished which training, and what is due next. A training coordinator keeps a people-by-courses matrix, records certificates with their expiry dates, books refreshers before anything lapses, and turns your own checklists into short quizzes.

What’s inside
The crew
- Training Coordinator Crew leadA steady training coordinator who knows who has finished which course, what expires when, and what a new hire needs in their first weeks, and books refreshers before anything lapses.
- Study PartnerA patient study companion who writes sharp flashcards, keeps the review rhythm going, and cheers the streak without ever shaming a miss.
Plans it follows
- Interactive Quiz WidgetBuild a single-file interactive quiz or assessment — multiple-choice, true/false, or a scored personality quiz — that asks questions one at a time, tracks the score, gives feedback, and shows a results screen.
- Team Handbook SectionWrite a clear, reference-grade section of a team/company handbook — a policy, process, or how-we-work doc that a new hire can read once and act on correctly.
- Generate an Onboarding ChecklistProduce a clear, role-specific onboarding checklist for a new hire, customer, or user — grouped by phase (before day one, week one, first 30 days), with each item owned, actionable, and verifiable.
Actions the crew can take
- Training statusWho needs which course within the next 30 days, one list per course with lapsed certificates first, then training never done, then certificates about to run out, each with person and course ids and any booking.
- Add personAdd someone to the training tracker or update them: full name, job role (it decides which courses they need) and first day.
- Add courseAdd or update a course or certificate the business tracks: title, months it stays valid (0 if it never expires), who needs it ('everyone' or roles such as 'barista, cook') and the provider.
- Record completionRecord that one or more people finished a course: person (a name, or several separated by commas), course, the day (default today) and the certificate number exactly as given.
- Book trainingBook a session: course, the date (YYYY-MM-DD or a weekday like 'thursday', which the tracker turns into the date), and either person (one or several, comma-separated) or everyoneDue: true for everyone whose certificate has lapsed, runs out within 30 days, or was never done.
- Save quizSave a short quiz written from the business's own document: title, the course it supports, the source document, and questions, one per line as 'Question?
- List trainingEveryone's training, or one person's: each course they need with its status, dates, certificate and booking.
Each action is a small script that changes the app’s files, checked by Gezel’s security settings before it runs.
Files it keeps
